I don't think I've read any sports manga, but I am fully confident in say that 1/11 is definitely the best sports manga there is. This deserves awards.
The storytelling format is insanely effective, not really episodic, more like a series of one shots that connects to the overarching main plot line. it delivers so much feels hnnng.

Oh I lied, recently started to read Golden Waltz as well. MC is very refreshing and so far plot pacing is good.
