More catching up via food photos (y)
Nabeyaki at Ema-Tei, one of the few Japanese restaurants with Japanese staff (and authentic food according to reviews).
It was really good, and comforting like a hotpot dish is suppose to be. Was on lunch special for $8.50 (normal price $13.50), which is a really good deal as you get a lot of seafood. Recommended!
I remember a line in The Devil Wears Prada that says something like the internship is the lowest pay highest perk job, which is kind of like the Sky Garden job. It's minimum wage, but you get a selection of the freshest produce and an amaaazing view.
There's quite a few varieties of pepper that we grow. This week was a bumper crop of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and beans (so pretty much everything). Was such a workout carrying them all to the food bank.
But nothing beats having a nice dinner with friends ;D One Hour has a wonderful atmosphere for that, they also never rush you out.
Thanks Janice/Nick/David for the delicious cake. They sorta got smushed on the way back, but all the more excuse to eat them all!
