I have survived the first week of school! *u*
Apparently all my teachers are nice according to ratemyteacher, I have to agree. *hopes for an easy year*

Ironside (tech): well no, he got sick and a new teacher, mr. Chadha, replaced him. New one's alright, not overly positive or negative. He's really picky about the arrows on dimension lines e__e" they have to be LONG and SHARP.

Blyth (history): again, normal teacher. He's really new though, only been hired for around a week?

Krakowski (business): norrrrmal. name's hard to pronounce though.

McConkey (science): haha he's funny, likes to joke about failing people. ;D gave us all perfects for the first assignment. Also gave us a general knowledge test on the first day, some girl wrote that Yukon is the province just to the west of Ontario.

Mondrow (english): bipolar (I kidddd)! Class is very enjoyable when she's in a good mood, lots of discussion (on and off topic). However, if she's in a not so good mood, random people will get picked on. Overall great teacher though, me likey.

Clarke (sap): his jokes are funny in a lame way, but funny.

Ha (math): epic lastname! "first person that comes in gets the HONOR of washing the board!" LOL. Though he kept us in 10mins past the bell on the first day of school, but the negative first impression is fast fading.

Antoniou (civics): she is really enthusiastic and sarcastic~ really nice as well, her class has one of the most relaxed class policies. Hopefully it'll make government a little less boring to study.

brunch: sesame paste

Haven't had a post about sunday brunch in a long time, so to motivate myself to cook more I shall make this into a weekly series!

On today's menu: noodle with sesame paste sauce.
I actually learned how to make the sauce from a family friend. I had to stay at his house during march break a few years ago, so for lunch he would make me noodles. I'm slightly amazed that I still remember the ten bajillion ingredients that was in there.

Doesn't the transparencies and the gradients look so pretty? *u* One drawback is that the background as to be completely black, else the overlay blending mode would go wacko e_e"

April's oh so beautiful pool (photo credits to rui) which happen to be the site of the pre-school/post-summer bbq. Four days ago, 14 people eagerly showed up ready to swim and more importantly, eat.


Some of the food, from l->r: chicken, bbq chicken, beef, pork tenderloin (details in next pic), pasta, more bbq chicken, curry fishball, more pork, sauce for the pasta, and ceaser salad.


this thing is HEAVEN, lucky me that I got to take the leftovers home. The cucumber yogurt dip compliments it very well.

haha i wish, veggies are impossible to screw up. But they do take a very long time to cook
